Since we first opened our doors in 2001, The Secret Garden has been more than just a flower shop; it’s been a place where we get to share in your life’s most beautiful moments. Whether it was a "just because" bouquet for a neighbour or a bespoke arrangement for a wedding, we’ve loved every second of these last two decades.
We wanted to pull back the curtain and introduce you to the hands and hearts that make the magic happen.
Liz- Owner, Founder and Senior Florist
Liz started The Secret Garden 25 years ago with a vision of bringing wonderful, bespoke floristry to Margate. You’ll usually find her in the shop in the mornings, still bringing her artistic touch to the business after all this time. Liz also oversees all of our weddings. Kayleigh – Manager, Senior florist, Delivery driver, Website tinkerer and Social Media poster
Kayleigh's been with us for 12 years, and you can find her in the shop most days. If not, she's likely out and about delivering your bespoke bouquets. She also manages the shop, as well as posting on our social media and manages the website. Kayleigh also does wedding consultations.

- Favourite Hobbies: Gardening, Gaming, Baking and Walking with her beloved dog Dixie.
Karen – Senior florist, World's best tied Sheaf maker and Delivery driver
Karen's been with us for approximately 15 years, but she's been a florist for 28 years! This makes her the best tied sheaf maker in the business! (amongst other things). She used to be in our Broadstairs shop but has stayed with us in Cliftonville since, and you can also find her in the shop most days.
